Mind Mapping and Brainstorming

Hello World,

I know brainstorming is something you learned back when you were in Grade 5 but you’d be surprised to learn that I have used the same form of visual organization technique in my MBA class as Mind mapping! Honestly, it really brings back your focus when you have too much going on and I have always too much going on!

Often people take on too much responsibilities. The list is just never ending. They have loan, expenses, work, projects and never ending list of things they want to achieve. Then there is the list of how they will achieve all their goals, the process part! All becomes a clutter in the brain. Therefore it’s easier when visualized.

Grab a piece of paper and draw your goals out. You don’t have to go to art school to be great at this! Just make a map and use different colors to of what’s important to you right now.  My mind was a clutter today!

I made one to focus on what’s important to me today! It’s a simple one and it doesn’t have an action plan attached to it. But it really helps me focus on what I need to take action on.

    Excellent post!

    I find that if I focus on all the lists of things I want to get done that I can get frustrated. However…if I always attempt to do the most important things first, that I’ll be fine.
